Original oil portraits of the tzaddikim of the Sephardic world, painted with a palette knife in Rachel's Johannesburg studio. The Baba Sali of Netivot in his white robes, and Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef against gold leaf, his embroidered robe raised in real relief.
Every canvas is an original, signed in oil, with a signed certificate of authenticity. Most of the Sephardic portraits Rachel has painted were commissions, and most were bought by families who found a painting like these first.
