In a letter to his brother in law, the Baal Shem Tov described ascending on Rosh Hashanah to the chamber of Moshiach. When will the master come, he asked. The answer: when your wellsprings spread outward. The Rebbe took those words as the charge of his life, and this canvas lives inside that promise.
