The Rebbe sits close to the viewer, hands folded before him, his gaze level and direct. Teeger builds the face in cool greens and blues, the knife laying pale planes across brow and cheek, while the beard rises in thick white ridges threaded with pink and yellow. The hat is cut in deep navy, its brim edged in warm cream that catches the strongest light on the canvas.

Around the figure the ground moves in long currents of blue, violet, red, and gold, drawn outward from the shoulders like heat leaving a flame. The dark coat holds the center still against this motion; whatever is radiant in the painting seems to begin with the Rebbe and move outward. Painted in 2024 as a private commission, the work carries the name Malka Ella for the family that requested it. It now lives in a private collection.
